This 11 bead chaplet combines vintage beads with an antique cross design and a finger ring that is patterned after ancient Celtic ring money. Both the cross and ring have been hand-cast in bronze. This 11 bead design is perfect for use as a single decade rosary, with 10 "Hail Mary" beads and one "Our Father" bead. The chaplet is strung with a high quality, 49 strand, nylon coated beading wire and double crimped for extra strength.

The Cross of Lorraine or Fur Trade Cross was brought to North America and Canada by the Jesuits from about the 17th century on. The intention was to give them to the Indians as they taught them about the true God. The fur traders discovered that the Indians took great pride in wearing them and soon the crosses were being made by the Hudson 's Bay Trading company and traded for beaver pelts.

Ancient Celtic Ring Money was used for trade in pre-Christian era (800 BC on). These rings are found all over Europe where the Celts moved and settled. Originally the Celts would cast these rings in gold, sliver and bronze.
