Petite Pastel Kazuri Bead Rosary

This petite rosary is made with round pastel Kazuri Beads and 4mm acrylic beads that are swirled with pastel shades. This would make the perfect first rosary for a special young lady. The center and crucifix are made from pewter.

The six larger "Pater" beads are fashioned in clay by women in Africa and are known as "Kazuri" beads, which means "small and beautiful" in Swahili. The beading cooperative has created jobs for over 400 women, who are able to earn three to five times the national average in wages. This helps the women to support extended family members and send their children to school, bettering the lives of themselves and community members.

The rosary is strung on a high quality, 49 strand, nylon coated beading wire.
