Black Millefiori Bead Rosary

The use if Millefiori beads in this rosary give it a very feminine, vintage look. The Millefiori beads represent the "Hail Mary" prayers, and the "Our Father" prayer beads are carved wood. Center piece is made of pewter with the image of St. Therese on one side, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the other. The crucifix is also pewter with a red enamel inlay.

Millefiori is a glass making technique that was developed centuries ago in Italy. "Mille" is Italian for "thousand," and "fiori" means "flowers."
